Wok & Roll — Slow Food Saturday Festival (Bon TV, 23:59)
Each September, The Schoolhouse invites Beijingers to get to know their local food in its annual Slowfood Saturday. BON TV’s foodie program “Wok and Roll” explores the festival in two 10 minute clips. The first clip features corn milling in Mutianyu and local trout farms in Tianxianyu.

A 10 minute Eco Hero feature, this Tianjin TV clip tells story of The Schoolhouse through a brief account of Schoolhouse Partner Jim Spear’s personal biography. The clip includes interviews with Jim, with the man who helped Jim buy his home in the village, Li Fengquan, and photo portraits of several homes.
